The Laboratory has over 60 highly trained chemists, engineers and research scientists. The capability of our laboratory includes a range of state of the art analytical services that reflect changing legislation and that have been developed to fit the needs of consultancy, site investigation and remediation clients.
The Laboratory supports our own soil and groundwater teams, providing an integrated solution to contaminated land investigations. Built environmental investigation is supported by a specialist asbestos testing laboratory. The laboratory also handles routine classification and performance testing of soils for geotechnical projects including compaction, consolidation, shear strength, classification and rock strength testing.
