As well as designing new office premises, WSP also works with tenant design on existing premises that includes the design of auditoriums, the development of new working spaces and the planning of restaurants and cafeterias. Office projects also involve the external environment with landscaping, parking areas, logistics and link roads. Flexibility is the key concept in our functional office designs. Wall panels must be easy to move to fit changing office spaces; electrical and telecom installations have to be accessible for the use of laptops and other modern office equipment. The work environment must be able to adapt to the high demands on light, sound and ventilation.
WSP's work with office and tenant design
WSP has developed ideas for office design in order to offer its users an ergonomic, efficient, practical and aesthetic daily environment. Some of our large office developments include the new Skanska head office in Solna with more than 900 work stations and in which we are contributing to the office layout plan for the entire Hagaporten area and to the interior design of the building.
Tenant design projects include work carried out on premises for PR and law firms, banks and large international businesses. Such projects often involve listed buildings and therefore require specialist knowledge to preserve and enhance historic architectural features.
