References from WSP: low-power and passive houses
In the Western Harbour, Malmö, Stanlybostäder had designed apartment buildings and was in planning for their construction. WSP had the role to educate the design team and perform early energy calculations. The project gradually came to meet the passive house standard over the period 2005 – 2008.
Gothenburg Egnahems AB developed 44 terraced houses and villas on Bottnevägen, Gothenburg. WSP was responsible for the structure and building shell for these passive houses.
Eksta Housing AB constructed three passive houses with apartments on Karl Johans Road, Frillesås. Built in 2006, WSP participated in the design process responsible for the structure and buildingshell.
Karlstad AB Housing built Sweden's first super-insulated apartment building, Kv Seglet, in 2007, which is also Karlstad’s highest residential building. For the 12 storey, well-insulated multi-housing unit WSP performed the energy calculations
as well as the design of building structure and shell.
JM built a ‘house of the future’ by pursuing its vision of low-energy buildings. Through our participation as energy expert in the project, Presse Park minimises energy consumption through various measures during the planning, design,
construction and operation stage.
