Kemira GrowHow AB manufactures animal feed phosphates, animal feed additives and hygiene products and calcium perborate at Kemira´s site in Helsingborg. Animal feed phosphates include a number of products used as raw material for manufacturing of animal feed for cattle, pigs, poultry etc. Feed additives contain products such as feed acids and minerals. Hygiene products are mainly for pigs, cattle, poultry and cats and calcium perborate is used as an additive in graphic ink.
Kemira GrowHow AB applied for and received a permit to produce 250 000 tonnes of feed phospates, 125 000 tonnes of feed additives and hygiene products and 50 tonnes of calcium perborate annually. The processing of the permit application took place at the Environmental Court in Växjö. WSP Environmental assisted Kemira GrowHow AB throughout the application process including preparing the EIA and the technical description.
WSP Environmental partnered with Kemira GrowHow AB throughout the consultative phase and submitted the EIA during the proceedings at the Environmental Court.
