WSP SELLS provided biennial and in-depth bridge inspection services for more than 400 railroad undergrade bridges carrying major commuter railroad agencies in the east. Our inspectors are thoroughly familiar with current American Railway Engineering and Maintenance of Way Association (AREMA) specifications for inspection and load rating of steel, concrete, and masonry structures.
Our inspectors also have experience in detecting critical deficiencies in older structures and understand the effects of fatigue in riveted and welded structures. All Inspectors are safety trained and experienced in working in the railroad right-of-way in diesel, electrified third rail and overhead catenary traction territories.
