WSP Libya, Libyan Swedish Engineering Consultant Company, is created as a joint venture company between WSP International Sweden AB and UDHC (Urban Development Holding Company, a subsidiary to HIB). The company is a legal entity in accordance with the Libyan legislation and was launched officially on 1 August 2008.
The objective of the company is to carry out multi-disciplinary assignments while at the same time build up a local capacity to meet market demands.
WSP Libya will draw on the expertise from the WSP Group as a whole. WSP Group with its 9,000 employees worldwide has resources, experience and knowledge covering all fields and services related to the built and natural environment.
