WSP Flack + Kurtz has been a leader in energy conservation since the early 1970's and has been on the forefront of sustainable building systems design since the mid-1980's. A few of our noteworthy activities and accomplishments include:
- Founding Membership and Director on the Board of the US Green Building Council
- Currently on LEED® 3.0 committees for Indoor Environmental Quality and Energy Efficiency
- Development of Hugh L. Carey/Battery Park City Authority Green Building Guidelines through NYSERDA
- Advisor to New York State Green Building Tax Credit Bill
- Advisor and Industry Liaison to New York City High Performance Building Design Guidelines for New York City buildings
At present, WSP F+K has over 60 LEED Certified projects, with another 65+ pending certification.
