The contact covers the design and construction supervision of a major bridge in Southern Vietnam as part of the consortium led by Wilbur Smith Associates (USA). The client is Cuu Long Corporation for Investment, Development and Project Management of Infrastructure acting as PMU for the Ministry of Transport of Vietnam. This consulting contract is grant funded from the Australian Trust Fund in Asian Development Bank. ADB will fund the construction contracts under the project.
The project includes detail design and construction supervision of a 2 km long Cao Lanh bridge over the Mekong river, 17 smaller bridges and a 15.6 km part of highway. The value of the contract is MUSD 22.4. WSP Group will provide approximately 32 % of the services in the project.
