The environment and architecture business area is charged with providing professional, high-quality reports and plans on land use and the environment as well as detailed planning for our clients and society as a whole. We take a creative approach to planning. Understanding versatility and taking a multi-disciplinary approach to our surroundings guide our planning. In cooperating with our clients, we focus on interaction and taking advantage of creative brainstorming methods.
This sector brings together the social, economic and ecological dimensions of sustainable development. Cooperation with experts in the fields of infrastructure and traffic planning in particular is close.
The management of planning processes and the development of interactive planning methods are continuous. We focus on the multidimensional analysis of effects and the illustration of results.
We are organised into two units:

- landscape and environment
Most of our operations are domestic, but we are fully prepared to take on international projects.
Our largest clients include the cities in and around the Helsinki Metropolitan Area as well as our long-term client cities, such as Jyväskylä, Oulu and Tampere. Other significant clients include: the Finnish Rail Administration, the Finnish Road Administration, regional councils, ministries and regional environment centres. We have also established relations with several large contractors.
