The government sector includes local government, public buildings and transport and infrastructure assets. In all parts of the world WSP are active in the government sector with housing, bridge, highway, prison, court and other projects. We also have a number of long standing relationships with City Authorities and Municipalities. We work with many Governments across the world through our aid business and working closely with organisations such as the World Bank, Asian Bank, ERBD and EU and have government aid projects in Afghanistan, Nepal, Yemen, Bangladesh, Serbia and Poland.
WSP undertake many public realm projects across the world including parks, theatres, libraries, museums and art galleries.
In Hong Kong, We have achieved Band 1 of Engineering Consultants (Building Services and Structural) under Architectural Services Department of HKSAR Government and been approved supplier for Civil Engineering Development Department, Electrical and Mechanical Services Department, Hong Kong Housing Authority, Urban Renewal Authority, etc.
In China, we are involved in many large public activity developments, e.g. Shenzhen Metro Qianhaiwan Property Development, Western Guangxi Roads Development Project funded by the Asian Development Bank.
