On the Job experience
Over the three years graduates will work on real engineering projects and be developed by line managers and mentors to ensure they are able to make a contribution as soon as they start.
Each graduate will have the opportunity to be assigned a career mentor. Technical mentors are assigned as part of our commitment to getting you professionally qualified. We have a dedicated online forum for graduates to network and share knowledge.
A combination of Technical, business and Personal Skills courses are available as well as a two day graduate induction event, including a Professional institute marketplace, featuring our accredited training schemes. Plus a two day, off site, learning workshop, three times a year for each graduate year group to receive technical and business training in a workshop format.
We encourage our graduates to gain experience through further education and professional qualifications. WSP is a member of several accredited schemes including Ice, IStructE, IET, CIBSE, CIHT, and RICS. If graduates are interested in pursuing a different route, we provide the same support in terms of training and mentoring.
