These businesses represent renowned expertise in all aspects of high-rise design to meet the demand for more complex, taller yet cost-effective and efficient building solutions in major centres world-wide. In 2006 WSP acquired Environmental Strategies Consulting (now WSP Environment & Energy) to provide a more articulated offer to the environmental sector. Finally in 2007 Chas H. Sells - a transport and infrastructure engineering company - became part of WSP Group.

WSP Cantor Seinuk is an internationally recognized structural engineering firm based in New York and with offices in London and Los Angeles. The company specializes in the design of building structures of varied types and usages. Flack+Kurtz has been in existence for over 36 years and is internationally recognised as one of the industry's leading building services engineering firms, having worked with some of the world’s most prominent corporations, developers, institutions and acclaimed architects. The firm provides complete design and construction engineering services for building systems including mechanical/electrical, life safety, in addition to offering its own comprehensive information technology and communications, security systems design and architectural lighting design.
Flack+Kurtz has also emerged as a powerful force in the globalisation of building systems technologies having met the challenges of some of the most complex and notable engineering projects in the world. With staff currently around 600, Flack+Kurtz has offices in the major cities of America such as New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Las Vegas as well as overseas offices in London, Paris, and Hong Kong.
WSP Environment & Energy
WSP Environmental has been operating in the United States since 2000, primarily from San Francisco and New York, operating as WSP Environmental Inc. September 2006 marked a major period of expansion for WSP Environmental in the United States with the acquisition of Environmental Strategies Consulting (ESC). ESC was a large environment, health and safety consultancy with over 120 staff and offices throughout North America.
Our integrated North American operations are now collectively known as WSP Environment & Energy. We have over 150 staff operating from 17 offices spread across the East to West coast of North America. We provide a full suite of environmental consulting, ranging from due diligence and product compliance, through to environmental liability transfer and soil and groundwater remediation.
Chas H. Sells
Chas H. Sells (SELLS) operates from eight offices across eastern USA. The firm is currently working on a number of major transport projects in New York City, including the $500 million interim reconstruction of the four-mile long Gowanus Expressway Viaduct and the $250 million replacement of the approach structures to the Bronx Whitestone Bridge. Additionally, SELLS provides regular inspection services on some of the world’s largest bridges including the Verrazano-Narrows Suspension Bridge, the Brooklyn Bridge and the George Washington Suspension Bridge.
SELLS is known also for its expertise in the planning and infrastructure design of large-scale developments which include homes, shops, offices and other community buildings.
