Sweden
WSP provides a wide range of specialist skills to many sectors, from residential to healthcare, from rail to environmental, offering specialist skills in architecture, production engineering and tunnels among others. WSP is the leading consultancy company in the rail sector.
WSP employs around 2000 staff in various offices around the country.
Numerous landmark projects showcase the breadth of skills and the capability of the group, including among others: the Arlanda express line, the City link and the Northern link in Stockholm.
Finland
WSP is among the leading consultancies in Finland, with around 300 staff in Helsinki, Oulu,Tampere, Jyväskylä, Vaasa and Rovaniemi. WSP operates in the transport & infrastructure, environmental and structural design. Specialist skills include bridge engineering and wind engineering.
Germany
With the acquisition of CBP Consulting Engineers AG, a leading German engineering and project management group, WSP has considerably strengthened its presence in this country. Headquartered in Munich, the company has offices in eight other German cities and an office in Hungary.
This acquisition brings additional capabilities into WSP and opportunities to expand into new market sectors in Germany and provides a platform for growth in Eastern European.
CBP provides project management and multi-disciplinary engineering services to the property sector, with a particular focus on the aviation, healthcare, commercial and cultural buildings markets.
WSP provides also a range of environmental services – including due diligence auditing, corporate reporting and environmental management systems, compliance and sustainability advice - from its WSP Environmental office in Frankfurt.
Eastern Europe
The property and infrastructure markets are booming in some of the countries that joined the EU, and WSP is well positioned to serve this boom. WSP is expanding its business in Romania, one of the most interesting new markets for property and environmental services and is present in Poland, where property and environmental services are provided and Estonia, where WSP entered in 2006 with an acquisition of a consultancy management company.
Rest of Europe
In Norway WSP has acquired a 25% share in one of the most important consulting companies in the country, Multiconsult, specialised in oil rig and energy.
WSP is present in France with the Paris office of Flack + Kurtz, the subsidiary company specialised in high rise buildings, and in Italy, where environmental services are provided.
