Last year we developed a number of objectives and supporting action plans as part of our strengthening commitment to Corporate Responsibility. We have been successful in achieving a number of these but recognise that we still have further work to do.
The development and implementation of a cohesive Corporate Responsibility strategy across a growing and diverse Group such as WSP presents its challenges, but we firmly believe that by assessing the risks, and concentrating on the areas that are of material significance to our business we can continue to make a difference.
In particular, this year we plan to continue to communicate our policies and principles in this area and will use our new Business Ethics Policy as a format for achieving this.
Finally, we aim to continue to develop our reporting framework to ensure that moving forward we have the data we need to make informed decisions and further develop our strategy.
