In the UK all of the top ten national homebuilders engage WSP to add value to their developments. Currently we are working on over 50 schemes exceeding 1,000 homes with a portfolio in excess of 200,000 homes ranging from those set for imminent development to those with planning timelines up to 2030.

In Sweden WSP has a long experience in the residential sector delivering a wide range of projects from city districts planning to individual buildings and landscape architecture to clients like constructors, real estate companies and municipalities.

Some examples of our innovative projects:

• In Sweden WSP has developed new building concepts like ”A room with a view”, a high rise low-energy building, and “Casa Blancia” an innovative project developed by a team of female engineers, whose first concrete implementation will be in a residential area in Trelleborg, Sweden.
• At the Dankuni Township in Kolkata, India we provided strategic support to the masterplanning of this 4,800 acre site for development as a township of up to 375,000 residents. 
• In Morice Town in Plymouth, UK, we managed design workshops with residents to produce community-led street designs for a Home Zone pilot scheme.
